Highly Recommended. Better than plastic

The original plastic Y Piece developed a tiny leak. Had to go back to local plumbers twice to buy plastic replacement, but both would not tighten properly on the hose and were jumping off. Tried different hoses, but plastic on plastic, they did not want to tighten properly. Ordered Brass fitting. Brilliant next day delivery. All now working. Highly Recommended.

Brass y piece

Just purchased this and absolutely delighted. Lost count of the number of times I've bought those plastic ones only for them to fail every single time..take my advice and go for this one . No leaks whatsoever. Big thumbs up....

Much better than the plastic ones

Lost a mark because it doesn't have a separate threaded nut part to screw onto the existing fitting, instead the y-piece has to be screwed to the pipe directly. Since my pipework was very flush to the wall I had to pull it out of the clip/bracket first, screw the Y piece in the reclip it. Minor inconvenience but could be more than minor if your pipe is hard fixed very close to an obstacle.

Brass Y piece

This cost me no more than some plastic ones that were offered to me but friends warned me off them as the threads go and you end up with water everywhere. Fitting it was easy and it worked from the off. I needed it to add a dishwasher to my kitchen, sharing the water inlet with the washing machine. For this price it was a bargain and I have peace of mind.
