Heavy duty lever outside tap / hose union bib tap with built in non-return double check valve (DCV) for backflow protection.

Easy to operate with quarter turn off / on operation.

Inlet has standard 1/2 inch BSP thread (the most common size in the UK).

The tap outlet is suitable for standard garden hose pipe, or it can be replaced with a quick connect hozelock type fitting (available separately).

Great Quality Tap

Having searched my usual source for stuff (named after a rain forest) and seeing loads of dubious crazy priced gear I turned to the Internet and found this. I realise plumbers will be blasé about it but, to a diy'er this is an impressive tap. It feels like a quality item, it works very smoothly and has a drain valve between the two stop valves to let any trapped water out, prior to freezing weather causing a problem. Good quality tap , very easy on/off action.

Good quality tap, very easy on/off action, incorporates double check valve, however water company regulations still state that a separate double check valve still needs to be fitted inside the building on the pipework. Delivered on time no problems many thanks! Jason (23 Apr 2016, 13:56)
