Brass outside tap / hose union bib tap / bibcock made to the British Standard BS1010-2.

Inlet has 1/2 inch BSP thread (the most common size in the UK).

The tap outlet is suitable for standard garden hose pipe, or it can be replaced with a quick connect hozelock type fitting (available separately).
