This brass thread adaptor connects modern 3/4 inch BSP (Hozelock / Gardena type) garden hose pipe quick connect fittings to the outlet of your older outside tap.

Both ends of the connector have a male 3/4 inch BSP outer thread. One end has a 5/8 inch BSP female inner thread (rare size), the other a 1/2 inch BSP female inner thread.

Great for old hose union bib taps with the less common 1/2 or 5/8 inch BSP size outlet threads.

My 40+ year-old tap had 5/8 thread apparently. So Hozelock hose-end connector would not attach; but this nice brass adaptor did the job perfectly! Peter Witting (11 Jul 2018, 12:50)

When my old black Hozelock attachment split I thought that I would have to buy a new outside tap to be able to use a hosepipe, as none of the new attachments I tried fitted my old tap.
