This brass 7/8 inch BSP outside tap connector / garden hose fitting adapter suits the outlet on a 3/4 inch outside tap / bib tap (not a common domestic size, more popular size for industrial / farmer's tap).

Compatible with most quick connect garden hose pipe systems including Hozelock / Gardena / Claber.

The 7/8 BSP male thread on the tap that this fits onto measures 30.2mm (1.189 inches).

Found the right size at last

Many thanks for explaining BSP on the website and for stocking the 3/4 inch "farmer's tap" size, which is actually 7/8 inch. Though we're not a farm, we do have this unusual size of outside tap. Ordering and delivery went very well too. George MacKenzie (27 Jun 2023, 17:31)

I tried every plumbers merchant and DIY store in the area, and searched online looking for a hose connector for my 3/4 inch outside tap, but none of the sizes matched. What was described as 3/4 inch was too small, whereas 1 inch was too big. This 7/8 inch brass hose connector fits perfectly on my outside tap that is marked 3/4 inch.
