This brass thread adaptor connects modern 3/4 inch BSP (Hozelock / Gardena type) garden hose pipe quick connect fittings to the outlet of your older outside tap.

Both ends of the connector have a male 3/4 inch BSP outer thread. One end has a 5/8 inch BSP female inner thread (rare size), the other a 1/2 inch BSP female inner thread.

Great for old hose union bib taps with the less common 1/2 or 5/8 inch BSP size outlet threads.

Perfect fitting if you are changing your leaking, unreliable and grossly overpriced Hozelock garden hose fittings to cheaper but very reliable brass. Hozelock nozzle fitting on my hosereel is a 5/8" BSP thread (no-one uses this in 2017!) This converter piece has a female 5/8" end which is ideal to convert the hosereel outlet to 3/4" tap thread to receive your leakproof brass nozzle.
